Women
The Women’s Ministry desire is that as each woman gets more into God’s Word - they would develop a heart to serve.
There are a number of ways for women to get involved at Immanuel. Bible studies are offered in the fall and spring. Retreats, banquets, and conferences are planned throughout the year to help develop relationships and friendships within the body of Christ. Lovin, Loafin, and Laffin Ministry
The Lovin, Loafin, and Laffin Ministry takes a small loaf of bread and a packet of information to women visitors. If you are interested in baking bread, organizing gift bags, or paying someone a visit, this is a ministry for you!
Piecemakers Quilting Ministry
Immanuel Baptist Church adopted the Awadhi people of India several years ago. The Piecemakes Quilting Ministry makes small quilts for orphan children in India. All of the quilts will go to the orphanage so that each child will be able to have his or her own quilt when they enter and leave the home.
Angel Tree Ministry
The Angel Tree Ministry provides a tree full of "Angels." These Angels have the faces and wishes of children from India, Haiti, and different parts of the world that Immanuel Baptist Church supports. This is a great opportunity to provide Christmas wishes for children and missionary families that would otherwise not be able to afford gifts at Christmas.
Time of Loss Ministry
Time of Loss Ministry provides assistance during the death of a loved one. The help that this ministry provides can be as simple as a hug or as great as providing a meal and/or running errands. If you are a compassionate and merciful women - this might just be the ministry for you.
First Shower Ministry
First Shower Ministry plans special celebrations to honor and shower with gifts the women in the church who are expecting a baby or getting married.
